Practical Arena Breakout: Infinite habits: the taxes most new players keep paying, and what to do instead.
Habit 1: stop paying this tax
Sprinting in compounds. Audio is the game. Flip it: Play the shooting range and a low-value map until extracts are boring. Gear fear is a tutor.
Habit 2: stop paying this tax
Looting a body in a doorway. You are the next body. Flip it: Insurance exists — use it on kits you actually want back.
Habit 3: stop paying this tax
Taking a meta ammo you cannot afford to spray. Ammo type is a damage stat. Flip it: Learn one map's extracts, keys, and a quiet route. Hot POIs are for when you can win the sound fight.
Habit 4: stop paying this tax
Queueing into a map whose extracts you cannot name. Flip it: Scav-style or cheap runs fund the expensive ones. Do not only run your best guns.
Keep a tiny notes file
Write down one map, one loadout, or one setting that worked. ABI players who improve fastest are not the ones with the most tabs open — they are the ones who stop repeating the same wipe.
