Destiny 2 Tips and Tricks
Practical Destiny 2 habits: the taxes most new players keep paying, and what to do instead.
Habit 1: stop paying this tax
Buying every eververse shader before you have a build. The dungeon is the fashion show later. Flip it: Finish the New Light / current onboarding so the Director makes sense.
Habit 2: stop paying this tax
Vaulting 500 'maybe' weapons. The vault is not infinite in spirit even when it is large. Flip it: Pick one subclass fantasy (a simple Solar or Stasis loop) and a kinetic/energy/power you like the feel of.
Habit 3: stop paying this tax
Going into a Master nightfall under Power with a randoms group that will not communicate. Flip it: Do not infuse every drop. Upgrade the guns you will actually shoot.
Habit 4: stop paying this tax
Ignoring the seasonal artifact mods. They are free stats for the season. Flip it: LFD for strikes first. Raids wait until you can follow a callout without dying to the add wave.
Keep a tiny notes file
Write down one map, one loadout, or one setting that worked. Destiny 2 players who improve fastest are not the ones with the most tabs open — they are the ones who stop repeating the same wipe.
