FC 26 Attacking and Possession

Close control, recycle, cut-backs, and shots that are on target on purpose.

Stop sprinting every touch

Holding sprint on every touch is why 90-pace dies to a standing tackle. Close control and passing lanes are the skill.

If the through ball is not on, go back. Switch the weak side. Forcing the same pass into a 5-back is their win condition.

Overlap, cut back, do not first-man cross every attack. Wingers still need a striker making a run.

Box shots. Timed finishing only if you can hit the prompt. 40-yard driven shots after a bounce are tilt, not a tactic.

They are optional. A 5-star move that loses the ball at the corner flag is not more 'real football' than a pass.
