GD Settings and Performance
Settings that matter for Geometry Dash: stability, audio, and the options that actually change how you play.
Start with stability, not max settings
A hitch in Geometry Dash is a lost fight, a missed click, or a crash into a wall. Cap FPS to a number you can hold, turn off extra overlays, and use a wired connection for anything competitive.
Setup note 1
Stable FPS matters. V-sync vs raw depends on your setup; tearing vs delay is a personal trade.
Setup note 2
Hitbox and trail options can help learning; some are considered cheats in leaderboard culture — know the room.

Bind practice checkpoint to something you can hit without dying.
Accessibility
If motion, color, or audio mix is fighting you, use the in-game accessibility options first. GD is more fun when you can actually parse the screen.
