Palworld FAQ
Solo play, guns, idle bases, PvP, and whether you have to breed.
Can I play Palworld solo?
Yes. Solo, friends, and dedicated servers all work. Base simulation still runs while you explore if the world is hosted. Leave workers home.
Do I have to use guns?
No. Pal skills and melee carry early game. Guns and better spheres speed up catching and bosses. Ammo is a factory product.
Why is my base idle?
Missing beds, food, SAN, or job assignments — or a blocked path. Check the palbox monitor before recatching everything.
Is there PvP?
Optional depending on world settings and server rules. Learn PvE automation before turning player damage on.
Do I have to breed?
No. You can beat towers on caught Pals. Breeding is how you target work suits and stats later. Cake first, combos second.
