Flat ground, room for beds and a berry line, statues nearby. Move once if you must — not four times.

Best for: New worlds that keep relocating the base for a nicer view

Step-by-step

  1. 1

    Catch Lamball / Cattiva / Chikipi class workers before you sculpt a castle.

  2. 2

    Drop the palbox on flat terrain with space in every direction. Cliffs and water edges path badly.

  3. 3

    Beds, a food box or farm plot, a chest line, then production. Walls can wait an hour; hunger cannot.

  4. 4

    Assign jobs in the palbox. Confirm they are actually working, not stuck on a chest.

  5. 5

    Unlock the nearest Great Eagle statue so a death is not a cross-map jog.

Tips

  • World settings: ease hunger and raids if the first night is miserable. You can tighten later.
  • A slightly worse view that runs is better than a ridgeline palace that jams.
  • Do not take every Pal exploring. Someone has to stay on kindling.
