PoE Settings and Performance
Settings that matter for Path of Exile: stability, audio, and the options that actually change how you play.
Start with stability, not max settings
A hitch in Path of Exile is a lost fight, a missed click, or a crash into a wall. Cap FPS to a number you can hold, turn off extra overlays, and use a wired connection for anything competitive.
Setup note 1
A strict loot filter is a setting, not an optional UI toy.
Setup note 2
Limit ground-item nameplates if the GPU dies in juiced maps.
Setup note 3
Controller support exists; keyboard is still the trading meta.
Accessibility
If motion, color, or audio mix is fighting you, use the in-game accessibility options first. PoE is more fun when you can actually parse the screen.
