Rust Settings and Binds
See players in the grass, bind grades and heals, audio louder than music.
Visibility
Use a max-gibs and grass setting you can still see players in. Some competitive configs reduce clutter on purpose. Pretty forests are death.
Binds
Bind keys for building grades, light, and healing. Inventory panic is a death sentence. Practice the airlock doors until both never stay open.
Audio
Audio is a weapon. Wear headphones; footsteps and roofs tell you the raid before the boom.
Performance
Cap a frame rate you hold in a monument fight with smokes and five people. A freeze on a roof is a kit loss.
Mini
If you fly, practice landing on a dead server. The first vehicle should not be a $50 crash into Harbor.
