COD Settings and Performance
Settings that matter for Call of Duty: stability, audio, and the options that actually change how you play.
Start with stability, not max settings
A hitch in Call of Duty is a lost fight, a missed click, or a crash into a wall. Cap FPS to a number you can hold, turn off extra overlays, and use a wired connection for anything competitive.
Setup note 1
On-disk this is a large HQ. Install only the modes you play if the installer lets you.
Setup note 2
NVIDIA Reflex / low latency if you have it. Frame time consistency beats max FPS screenshots.
Setup note 3
Crossplay toggle if you want MnK-only lobbies and the option exists for that playlist.
Accessibility
If motion, color, or audio mix is fighting you, use the in-game accessibility options first. COD is more fun when you can actually parse the screen.
