COD Tips and Tricks
Practical Call of Duty habits: the taxes most new players keep paying, and what to do instead.
Habit 1: stop paying this tax
Running the same lane after dying there twice. Spawns flipped. Flip it: Set FOV, a usable sensitivity, and disable cinematic motion. COD is an aim trainer with spawn logic.
Habit 2: stop paying this tax
Ignoring the minimap. UAV and footsteps are the game. Flip it: Play Core before Hardcore so you learn TTK, then try Hardcore if you like it.
Habit 3: stop paying this tax
Equipping a warzone loadout in 6v6 without adjusting. Recoil and handling differ. Flip it: Level guns in matches you can complete. Backing out every death resets more than your mood.
Habit 4: stop paying this tax
Buying every battle pass skin before you have a sensitivity you like. Flip it: Warzone: drop mid-tier, loot a loadout, then rotate. Hot dropping every game is a challenge filter.
Keep a tiny notes file
Write down one map, one loadout, or one setting that worked. COD players who improve fastest are not the ones with the most tabs open — they are the ones who stop repeating the same wipe.
