Deadlock is Valve's third-person hero shooter MOBA: lane, last-hit souls, buy items, then take walkers and the Patron. Gun aim and MOBA macro share the same match.
Lane safely, hit a timing, group for a walker or urn, then end instead of chasing a fourth kill in their base.
First moves
- 1.Play the new-player experience until last-hitting souls and troopers feels automatic.
- 2.Start with a forgiving hero that can farm from range. Flashy assassins wait.
- 3.Buy items that match the fight you are actually in — anti-heal, movement, and a defensive active beat a sixth damage stat.
- 4.Teleport and map movement win more than a 1v1 in a side lane at 20 minutes.
