Naraka Beginner Guide
A first-week plan for NARAKA: BLADEPOINT: how the loop works, what to do in session one, and the mistakes that waste the most time.
What Naraka actually is
Naraka is a melee-focused battle royale with hero skills and a grappling hook. Most deaths are lost close-range exchanges or getting third-partied while you celebrate a knock. The loop you will repeat: Drop, grab a melee weapon and armor, win or disengage skirmishes with the hook, then play the circle like a BR.
Your first session
Spend time in the training range on charged attacks, counters, and hook angles. This is not a gun-skill BR. Learn one hero's F and ultimate before hopping the roster. Loot armor and a weapon quality you can fight with; golden fashion can wait. Disengage with the hook when a third team shows. Pride is a ranking strategy only on highlight reels.
Mistakes that end runs
Spamming light attacks into a player who is waiting to counter. Patience wins melee. Fighting in the open when a building is 10 meters away. Verticality is cover. Ignoring soul altars / revive rules for your mode. Dead teammates are a resource if you play the mechanic. Sprinting every hook on cooldown and arriving with no stamina into a 1v2.
What 'good' looks like after a week
You should be able to explain NARAKA: BLADEPOINT's core loop in one sentence, recover from a bad session without rage-reinstalling, and know which mode or map is for learning versus for ego. If you are still lost, re-read the first-session steps instead of hopping to a random viral build.
