Do I need PoE 1?
No. Systems rhyme; combat does not. Veterans still need to unlearn zoom.
Is it free?
PoE 2 has been sold as early access / a purchase depending on the current Steam offer. Cosmetics remain the long-term F2P pattern GGG uses.
Controller?
Yes, and it is a first-class option for a lot of players.
How long is the campaign?
Longer and more fighty than a PoE 1 rush. Budget a real act-by-act playthrough.
