PEAK Tips and Tricks
Practical PEAK habits: the taxes most new players keep paying, and what to do instead.
Habit 1: stop paying this tax
Jumping for a ledge you cannot make 'because it looks cool'. Stamina math is the game. Flip it: Play a solo run once so you understand stamina and falling before you can blame friends.
Habit 2: stop paying this tax
Leaving someone below with no rope because you wanted to be first. PEAK is not a race against your friends unless you agreed it is. Flip it: Place ropes and spikes for the next scout, not just yourself. The mountain is a relay.
Habit 3: stop paying this tax
Ignoring injuries. Every setback cuts stamina; stacking them is how you fall on the last biome. Flip it: Eat with a plan. Mystery food can heal or ruin a run; the funny poison is still a wipe.
Habit 4: stop paying this tax
Splitting the party across a foggy biome with no callouts. Flip it: The map rotates daily. Learn biomes, not a single memorized line.
Keep a tiny notes file
Write down one map, one loadout, or one setting that worked. PEAK players who improve fastest are not the ones with the most tabs open — they are the ones who stop repeating the same wipe.
