STS2 Settings and Performance
Settings that matter for Slay the Spire 2: stability, audio, and the options that actually change how you play.
Start with stability, not max settings
A hitch in Slay the Spire 2 is a lost fight, a missed click, or a crash into a wall. Cap FPS to a number you can hold, turn off extra overlays, and use a wired connection for anything competitive.
Setup note 1
Animation speed and fast mode help once you know intents. Keep them readable while learning.
Setup note 2
Screen reader and colorblind options exist — turn them on if you need them.
Setup note 3
Seeded runs are for practice, not for your first climb ego.
Accessibility
If motion, color, or audio mix is fighting you, use the in-game accessibility options first. STS2 is more fun when you can actually parse the screen.
