The loop
BeamNG.drive is a soft-body vehicle sandbox. The viral clips are crashes; the game underneath is a serious driving and engineering toy with mods, campaigns, and a physics engine that punishes bad inputs.
Pick a car and a map, drive or stage a scenario, break it, reset, then try a cleaner line or a different part setup.
First moves
- 1.Do the official scenarios and driving school style content before spawning a tank on a ramp every time.
- 2.Learn clutch, gears, and a sane camera. Arcade assist is OK while learning.
- 3.Try one map well (Italy or Automation/West Coast style depending on your install) instead of 40 mods on day one.
- 4.Save configs. You will wreck a vanilla car and want it back.
