Cyberpunk Settings and Performance
Settings that matter for Cyberpunk 2077: stability, audio, and the options that actually change how you play.
Start with stability, not max settings
A hitch in Cyberpunk 2077 is a lost fight, a missed click, or a crash into a wall. Cap FPS to a number you can hold, turn off extra overlays, and use a wired connection for anything competitive.
Setup note 1
DLSS/FSR and a sane RT preset matter more than psycho RT on a mid GPU.
Setup note 2
Controller vs mouse: driving likes a pad, shooting likes a mouse. Hybrid is fine.
Setup note 3
Update the game. Launch-era advice is obsolete.
Accessibility
If motion, color, or audio mix is fighting you, use the in-game accessibility options first. Cyberpunk is more fun when you can actually parse the screen.
