The loop
Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world RPG in Night City. Phantom Liberty and years of patches turned it into the game people wanted at launch. Builds, gigs, and conversations all scale with how you spend shards.
Do the main beats until you can roam, pick a combat style, then clear gigs and NCPD scanners until the map is your playground.
First moves
- 1.Play on a difficulty that lets you enjoy driving and talking. Very Hard is a later vanity.
- 2.Commit to one damage type early (guns, blades, or quickhacks) so perks stack.
- 3.Explore Watson fully. The game teaches systems in the first district if you let it.
- 4.Save before big jobs. Dialogue flags matter.
