Strengths

  • • Ganks that actually use smoke win mid without the mid hero being better
  • • Can play active heroes: Earthshaker, Clockwerk, Tusk, Hoodwink
  • • Stacks and runes are your gold when the lane is over

Weaknesses

  • • Showing every 30 seconds in the same lane gets you killed and trains nothing
  • • Buying core items while the 5 has no boots throws vision

Starter tips

  1. 1

    Contest bounty runes. Path through them instead of walking lane forever.

    Smoke with the mid after 6. A 4 who never leaves offlane is a worse 5.

  3. 3

    Stack the ancient if your 3 or 1 can clear. One stack is a better 'farm' than a small camp.

    You still buy sentries. Dual support vision is the role.
