The loop
Payday 2 is a four-player co-op heist shooter. Infamy and skill trees stretch for hundreds of hours; the actual skill is knowing when a heist is still stealth and when it is a loud holdout.
Pick a heist, bring a build for stealth or loud, complete objectives, secure bags, and escape.
First moves
- 1.Do the first few heists on Normal/Hard. Overkill can wait until you have a real skill tree.
- 2.Learn the difference between casing, stealth, and loud. Masking too early is a wipe condition.
- 3.Bag secure points exist. Leaving loot on the street is not a flex.
- 4.Join a crew that will explain assets. Random pubs may not.
