Is Warframe pay to win?

Platinum buys convenience and slots. Almost everything can be traded or farmed. New players should protect slots first.

How long to get good?

A few dozen hours to feel mobile. The rest is content volume.

Most missions yes. Some quests and raids-style content want a group.

Rhino, Volt, or whatever the current beginner path gives you. Cool factor matters if you will actually play it.

The loop

Warframe is a fast third-person looter: parkour through missions, craft Warframes and weapons in the Foundry, and slowly unlock a space-ninja power fantasy that lasts thousands of hours.

Clear star chart nodes, craft the next frame, run relics or the current farm, then take on Steel Path when your mods are not cardboard.

First moves

1.Finish the Vor tutorial and the early Earth/Venus nodes. The game opens after a few quests, not in the first mission.
2.Level weapons by actually using them. Affinity sharing exists, but a rank 0 brick will feel awful.
3.Spend early Platinum only if you understand slots. Buying cosmetics first is how you stall crafts.
4.Join a clan for research. Solo Foundry is slower than it needs to be.
