Avoid the 3-Gen

Three remaining generators close together, easy for the killer to patrol. Do not build it.

Best for: Street and indoor maps where gens cluster

Step-by-step

  1. 1

    Name the cluster out loud if you have a mic. Ping if you do not.

  2. 2

    Work far gens while people are healthy. After two hooks, it is harder to travel.

  3. 3

    If the 3-gen is already built, force a chase on the other side of the map or accept a long game.

  4. 4

    Killer: you want this. Herd them into it by kicking the outliers.

  5. 5

    Indoor maps (RPD, Gideon, Midwich): look at the HUD. The cluster is not always obvious in 3D.

Tips

  • Do not finish two easy gens that leave three close ones.
  • Haddonfield porches and RPD East are classic 3-gen factories.
  • A 3-gen at two gens left is a killer win condition you handed over.
