Setups
Windows, ropes, loot order, and how not to die in the inventory menu.

Rosewood · Day 1–3
First House
Two-story, fence if you can, sheets, water, a rope. Rosewood or Riverside — not West Point.
Best for: Spawns that immediately walk toward the prison or downtown

Any town · One pull
Fence Split
Walk away, close a door, put a fence between you and the pile. One zombie at a time.
Best for: People who fight fifteen zombies in a street with a pan

Riverside · Each outing
Loot Priority
Water, food, bag, weapon, medical. Books when the street is quiet. TVs later.
Best for: Characters who die under a TV and a generator

Muldraugh · The event day
Helicopter Hide
Be indoors, sheets up, no engine, no gun. It is a horde delivery service.
Best for: Runs that go outside to 'see the heli'

Farms and Rural · Before any town hop
Car Kit
Gas, tires, battery, wrench. A dead battery in the woods is a new character.
Best for: People who drive to West Point on a 12% battery

Muldraugh · After you can fence and refrigerate
Warehouse Expand
Secure a starter, then expand. A warehouse is a second base, not a day-two picnic.
Best for: Week-one warehouse speedruns with a pan
